Get Wrapped Up! International Flavors Cooking Lesson

Recipe: Scotch Bonnet Sauce and Mango Chutney

Optional: Add sauces to wraps! Scotch Bonnet Wrap and Mango Chicken Wrap

*Items that are included in pre-packaged ingredients box*

Ingredients list for Sauces:

Scotch Bonnet Sauce Ingredients

  • 2 tomatoes
  • 4 scotch bonnet peppers* (or habanero peppers)
  • 1 small red bell pepper
  • ½ cup olive oil*
  • 1 tsp vinegar*
  • 2 tbsp parsley*
  • 3 garlic cloves*
  • ½ yellow onion*
  • ½ tsp crushed ginger*
  • 1 tsp complete seasoning*
  • ½ tsp salt or to taste*

Mango Chutney

  • 3 cups diced mango
  • ½ cup finely diced red onion
  • ⅓ cup golden raisins*
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar*
  • 5 tbsp finely minced garlic*
  • 2 tbsp finely minced ginger*
  • 3 tbsp white wine vinegar*
  • ¼ tsp salt*

Scotch Bonnet Wrap and Mango Chicken Wrap

If you are making the wraps with us too, you will need:

  • 2 White 10-inch wrap*
  • Tomato slices
  • Romaine leaf lettuce
  • Red onions sliced thin
  • Shredded cheese, I prefer a cheddar blend
  • Tofu will have to be cut into strips and baked beforehand
  • Skinless, boneless, chicken breast cut into strips and baked beforehand
