Our office proudly serves incoming international students and outgoing study abroad participants. We help support the internationalism of the campus community through education and programming.

Specific functions include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Plan and host educational, cultural, and recreational events and activities to bring international and other SUNY Canton students together
  • Help international students become acclimated into campus life
  • Help international students learn about the many resources available on campus
  • Provide guidance and support to students studying abroad
  • Process appropriate documents (etc.)
  • Conduct new-student and visiting scholar orientation
  • Work in collaboration with academic departments to facilitate Visiting Scholar Exchange
