Presidential Internship - On-Campus Internship Program

Requests are now open for the Spring 2025 semester. Supervisor requests are due no later than Friday, November 22 by 5:00pm. Late requests will not be accepted.

• On average students will work 10 hours per week over a 10-week period or 8 hours per week over a 12-week period. Supervisors are responsible for scheduling student work hours accordingly. Students will receive a $1,500.00 stipend for 100 hours of work in a single semester.

Removing Barriers to Internship Completion: Transportation and Childcare Assistance Stipends

Applications for Winter and Spring 2025 are due by Friday, December 6.

Funds are limited and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Students may request up to $1,000 for transportation (i.e. gas mileage, public transportation - bus, train, etc.) and childcare assistance (childcare center or in-home care costs) during an OFF-CAMPUS Winter 2025 or Spring 2025 internship, clinical, or preceptorship experience. Please note: Students may only request funds for either Winter or Spring 2025, not both semesters. Students can request funds for credit-bearing or non-credit experiences.

**Transportation and child care assistance requests for credit-bearing internships, clinical, or preceptorship experiences will be reviewed by Financial Aid before they can be approved.

Living Stipends for Unpaid Public Service and Non-Profit Internships

Applications for Winter and Spring 2025 are due by Friday, December 6.

Funds are limited and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Students who secure unpaid internships with OFF-CAMPUS non-profit or public service organizations can request up to $1,500 for a Winter 2025, or Spring 2025 internship experience. The $1,500 stipend is based on 100 hours of work. If a student's internship exceeds 100 hours, please note the maximum stipend we can provide is $1,500. Examples of non-profit or public service organizations include law enforcement and human services agencies, hospitals, museums, public charities, public radio, and public school districts. Please note: Students may only request funds for either Winter or Spring 2025, not both semesters. Students may request funds for internships that are credit-bearing or non-credit.
