Transfer Students
The college will enter any transfer student who submits an application by Dec. 1 in a drawing to earn a one-time $1,000 scholarship toward non-tuition expenses. The college will select five recipients.
Free Credit Evaluation
We'll evaluate all your transcripts for free. The college has a generous credit acceptance policy, and most passing grades are accepted. There are no limits on the amount of credits that will transfer.
No Commitments
We'd love for you to enroll though there's no commitment or pressure to start until you're ready.

With a variety of on campus and online degrees to choose from, SUNY Canton is a great option for potential transfer students. We also offer a spring start date for many of our majors and the flexibility of studying 100% online.
With over 400 transfer students choosing to enroll at SUNY Canton each year, our Admission Office welcomes your questions and encourages a visit to campus or a phone call to speak with one of our counselors.
Transfer students who have less than 24 college credits completed at the time of application will be required to submit their high school transcript. However, we encourage all transfer students to submit their high school transcript for financial aid requirements. Lack of a high school transcript on record with SUNY Canton may result in the loss of a financial aid opportunity.
