Safety and Fire Considerations for Solar PV Workshop - Parish, NY

This workshop will provide first responders and emergency personnel, such as firefighters and rescue personnel, with a training on safety precautions and fire code considerations with respect to the recognition and disabling of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.

North Country Care Coordination Certificate Program

Preparing the regional workforce to provide services in the RIGHT PLACE, at the RIGHT TIME, and in the most COST EFFECTIVE way.

The Fort Drum Regional Health Planning Organization (FDRHPO) in partnership with SUNY Jefferson (JCC) and SUNY Canton are offering a Care Coordination Certificate Program designed to prepare and train existing care coordination professionals who will play a critical role in supporting health transformation in the Tug Hill Seaway Region.

WHO: Existing Care Coordination Professionals from hospitals, the health home, behavioral health facilities and/or community-based settings

NYSERDA Cooperative Energy Education Program (CEEP)

In Partnership with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Jefferson County and the Copenhagen Central School district, SUNY Canton CREST is offering on-line “Building Science” training to Jefferson County high school juniors and seniors during the fall 2015 semester.  To register for this 3 credit hour college course please open the registration link below, print out the form, fill it out, obtain the appropriate signatures and return to SUNY Canton Registrar’s office.

CREST at SUNY Canton offers Building Science training that can lead to BPI Certification and Accreditation.

BPI Test Center

CREST is a BPI Test center offering BPI Online and Field tests for certification and re-certification. Contact Art Garno, Director for pricing and to schedule your test.

Schedule your BPI exam(s) with SUNY Canton a BPI Affiliate.

Once you start the certification process, you have one year to complete it before you will be required to start over as a new candidate.


Certification Testing

To be certified the candidates must take and pass a written test and a field test for each individual area of specialty.

Candidates failing to successfully complete an examination may retake the exam a 2nd & 3rd time within one year with an additional test fee.
