Special Admissions Programs

SUNY Canton offers two special admissions programs. These programs grant access to students who are showing great promise for success in college yet fall below our regular admissions requirements. The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) requires students be academically and financially disadvantaged. Jump Start is similar, but does not require a financial disadvantage. Both programs provide extra support and require participation in a summer program.

SAT/ACT

SAT/ACT scores are optional for first-time students applying for the spring 2022 or fall 2022 semesters.
