“Camp Invention really makes students think and engages their creativity,” Ronald Tavernier a SUNY Canton biology instructor and camp organizer. “From an educator’s standpoint, I see it as a way to make learning science fun.”
This is the second year that SUNY Canton has hosted the science and math-based learning camp, presented by Invent Now.
The cost of Camp Invention is $200 a week per student. Participants can sign up for both weeks.
Parents should enroll their children as soon as possible to ensure that they can participate. There are three ways to register: on-line at www.campinvention.org, or by calling 1-800-968-4332. The application form is also available by emailing Tavernier at firstname.lastname@example.org.
