SUNY Canton University Police Officer Brian J. Perry and criminal investigation student William R. Francis of Albion "posted the colors" for the College's 10th anniversary 9/11 remembrance ceremony.

New York State Trooper Robert M. Parcell, a 1995 SUNY Canton Alumnus, gave the keynote address at the remembrance ceremony. Parcell was assigned to Ground Zero as a dog handler.

Students, faculty and staff gathered at on Monday at SUNY Canton's Roselle Academic Plaza for a 9/11 remembrance ceremony orchestrated by the College’s Criminal Justice Student Association. The college comes together annually to remember the lives and loved ones lost in the attacks 10 years ago.

SUNY Canton President Joseph L. Kennedy talked about the resilience of the American spirit when it has been placed under attack.

New York State Assemblymember Addie J. Russell was among the elected officials to speak at the event.
