TUTORING SERVICES

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our tutoring services and how you can better help yourself to become a stronger student. SUNY Canton wants you to succeed as a students. Academic tutoring provides you, the student, with the ability to help yourself to become an independent learner. Regardless of how long you have been in school, or out school, tutoring can benefit you. According to SUNY student satisfaction, SUNY Canton has some of the best tutoring services available among similar institutes.

There are a number of ways you can get involved with our tutoring services:

• Visit a learning lab. Our learning labs offer free tutoring to all students. The labs are conveniently located on campus and walk-ins are welcome.

• Make an appointment with the Tutor Coordinator. If you don't find the subject you are looking for in one of our learning labs, you can make an appointment to meet with the Tutor Coordinator to see what kind of help would be right for you. » Tutor Coordinator
• Become a tutor. Whether you are a good student who is interested in helping others while making a little bit of money, or a professional with some extra time to dedicate to others involved in higher education, becoming a tutor could be right for you. To apply to become a tutor, please complete the application and then schedule to meet with the Tutor Coordinator for an interview.» Tutor Application
