Financial Aid - Awards

Financial aid will be awarded as follows:

  1. Students having met priority dates and who have submitted appropriate documentation will be awarded campus-based funds for based on eligibility guidelines and regulations to the extent funds exist.
  2. A notification will be sent to each student with instructions to view and accept/decline their award offer on UCanWeb. The offer of financial aid must be accepted within 30 days, accepted/declined, or if not, the award may be rescinded.
  3. Students who complete their files after the priority date and are eligible for campus-based aid will be offered assistance only as funds permit. They may be placed on wait lists until the funding is available for review.
  4. Students will receive information regarding alternative forms of financial aid. These may include Federal Direct Stafford Loans, parent loans, private alternative loans, and monthly payment plans.
