Description of Duties

Dishwashers - Dishwashers are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for all dining and cookware using machine and manual cleaning methods. This is a full-time, seasonal position based on the academic year. Starting rate of pay is $12.50/hour and includes a generous benefit package.

Retail Dining Associate - Retail Dining Associates prepare and serve dining food in one of the campus retail dining locations. This is a part-time, seasonal position based on the academic year. The schedule is Monday through Friday 9:30am-3:30pm. Starting rate of pay is $14.00/hour and includes sick time, personal time and retirement.

Retail Line Cook - Retail Line Cooks prepare, to order, all food items in one of the campus retail dining locations. This is a full-time, seasonal position based on the academic year. Starting rate of pay is $12.50/hour and includes a generous benefit package.

Facilities Associate - Facilities Associates are responsible for the maintenance, cleaning and sanitation of Chaney Dining Center and the Retail food operations. This is a full-time, seasonal position based on the academic year. Starting rate of pay is $13.25/hour and includes a generous benefit package.

Cook – Cooks are responsible for preparation of food served using established procedures and recipes. This is a full-time, seasonal position based on the academic year. Starting rate of pay is $14.00/hour and includes a generous benefit package.

Chef – Chefs are responsible for preparation of food served using established procedures and recipes. The position is also responsible for preparing meals for catered events. This is a full-time, seasonal position based on the academic year. Starting rate of pay is $18.00/hour and includes a generous benefit package.

Qualifications

High school diploma required. Some positions require a valid NYS driver’s license and food service experience is preferred.

Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, and criminal background check.
