SUNY Canton Outdoors for All
The Outdoors for All program at SUNY Canton is dedicated to breaking down the barriers between our students and the incredible natural landscape of the North Country. We believe that the physical, mental, and social benefits of nature should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their prior experience, financial means, or physical ability. By providing the tools, knowledge, and community support necessary for exploration, we aim to foster a lifelong appreciation for the environment and a sense of belonging in the great outdoors.
Whether you are looking to find a quiet spot along the Grasse River for reflection or planning an ambitious weekend excursion into the Adirondack High Peaks, this portal is your primary resource. Our program bridges the gap between campus life and the wilderness through a robust gear lending library, educational workshops, and inclusive outings designed for all skill levels. We are committed to ensuring that every member of the SUNY Canton community feels empowered to step outside and explore.
Adventure is closer than you think. From our own campus trail systems to the vast expanses of the neighboring Adirondack Park, there is a path waiting for you.
