Scholarly Activities Travel Stipend for Online Students
Travel stipends for online students are available to offset the cost of travel to present at SUNY Canton’s Scholarly Activities Celebration.
Two types of award are available based on State rates for travel:
- In-state: Maximum $300 toward travel expenses
- Out-of-state: Maximum $500 toward travel expenses
Please read the eligibility requirements closely and follow instructions. Incomplete applications will not receive funding. Decisions about travel stipends are made depending on priorities, the number of requests and the available funding.
Eligibility
- The applicant must be enrolled in all online classes
- Be matriculated at SUNY Canton or a recent December graduate of the institution
- Presenting research at the Scholarly Activities Celebration
How to Apply
- Complete the Travel Stipend Application
- Submit a letter of recommendation from your faculty advisor
Deadline
- Applications for the travel stipend will be accepted until Tuesday, March 31st, 2020 11:59 EST for the 2020 Scholarly Activities Celebration
- Recipients will be notified by April 10th
