Stained Glass Workshop

Learn the art of stained glass making through this hands-on workshop. Participants will learn to cut, grind, foil, and solder stained-glass into a completed 8.5"x11" piece of artwork.

Instructor: Jeff Merrill

My name is Jeff Merrill, and I’ve spent over two decades playing with light, color, and glass. Crafting stained glass is a family tradition—my grandfather, Richard Ashley, taught this very art in the halls of Nevaldine right here at SUNY Canton, inspiring countless creators along the way. Now, I’m stepping into those same halls to share that spark with you. Join me, learn the craft, and let’s make something extraordinary together!

Jeff Merrill overlayed on stained glass with several blue hues.
