Campaigning & Community Advocacy

Campaign for a better future in the Campaigning & Community Advocacy microcredential where you will gain an understanding of working in the non-profit sector, specifically focusing on social justice and advocacy campaigns. First, you’ll develop an understanding of both national and international social movements while engaging in advocacy and activism. Then, you will examine key management concepts used to contend with challenges encountered in domestic and/or global environments. Finally, you will study leadership paradigms and contingency leadership models. This microcredential is intended for anyone interested in learning about social justice and advocacy campaigns

  • Engage management philosophy, realities and imperatives for efficient and effective decision making, planning, organizing, leading and controlling used for superior organization performance
  • Develop and apply advocacy skills towards implementing activist methods to support current social/political campaigns and social justice action
