Property Control & Equipment Transfer

Property Control is required to provide proper and timely reporting of an accurate inventory of state assets. The assigned Property Control Coordinator (PCC) uses the Property Control System (PCS) to report equipment transactions and safeguard against loss. The PCC ensures property is tagged and physical inventories are performed annually.

SUNY System Administration is responsible for the maintenance of the Property Control System and has established policies and procedures concerning property management. Additional information is available regarding Property Control Procedures #7595.
