Mission Statement
The Office of Student Affairs Technology serves as a resource to departments within the Student Affairs division, working towards enhancing the student experience through innovative and efficient technology solutions. Our primary goal is to empower students, staff, and faculty by providing reliable and user-friendly tools that support their co-curricular experience.
What We Do
Efficiency
Working with departments within the division, the Office of Student Affairs Technology assists in identifying current practices, and in collaboration with Information Services, suggests recommendations for improvement. These suggestions may include revising current practices for better efficiency, utilizing current campus software solutions not already in use, or researching and recommending new software solutions.
Communication
With technology advancing at a rapid pace, oftentimes students are the first adapters of this new technology. This means that in order to meet them where they are, we must also adapt. As a division we are continuously innovating how we communicate with students, utilizing services such as texting, website chat, and social media to reach the students
Operational Resiliency
We are also working to ensuring the division is able to adapt to the changing needs of our student population, particularly with supportive technology resources to aid in their academic and socio-developmental success.
