Calculator Policy
The mathematics department has a policy for the use of calculators in various courses.
No Calculators
No calculators may be used in:
- Beginning Algebra (MATH 100)
- Intermediate Algebra (MATH 106)
Scientific Calculator (Non-graphing type)
This type of calculator must be used in:
- Survey of Math (MATH 111)
Graphing Calculator
This type of calculator may be used in:
- College Algebra (GER 1) (MATH 121)
- Statistics (MATH 141)
- Calculus (MATH 122 or MATH 161) and subsequent courses.
