SUNY Canton Admissions Office to Extend Hours for ‘Drop-In Days’

Admissions Drop-In Days: May 13-16The SUNY Canton Admissions Office will be open late in May for prospective students unable to come to campus during traditional business hours.

The event, called “Drop-In Days,” will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, May 13, to Thursday, May 16, in French Hall, Room 123. Pre-registration is encouraged, but not required.

“Our goal with Drop-In Daysis to make applying for an online or on-campus-program, signing up for a class, or learning about tuition payment options as simple as possible,” said SUNY Canton Director of Admissions Melissa Evans. “The extended hours are designed to accommodate those who are working full time or have other obligations during the day.”

Evans noted that admissions counselors will be on hand to discuss academic program options, including the college’s newest degrees in Early Childhood Care and Management, Cybersecurity, Technological Communications, Game Design & Development, Mechatronics Technology, and Agribusiness Management.

Financial aid specialists will also be available to help prospective students navigate the necessary steps.
