Admissions Open House - November 13SUNY Canton welcomes prospective students and their families to their final Open House of the semester Saturday, Nov. 13, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Visitors can take a tour, meet with faculty, and speak with admissions and financial aid representatives. Those who want to maximize their time on campus can also submit an application and transcript to receive an instant decision.

“Not only can guests see our incredible new facilities on campus and learn about our recently developed programs, but they can also submit their paperwork to receive an acceptance decision that day,” said Executive Director of Enrollment Melissa J. Evans.

First-year students interested in receiving an instant review must bring a high school transcript, and transfer students are required to bring their college transcripts.

The campus tour itinerary includes a visit to Dana Hall, which reopened this fall and is home to the Center for Criminal Justice, Intelligence and Cybersecurity. The $10 million investment includes state-of-the-art classrooms, laboratories and other learning spaces. Guests will also get a glimpse at the new Esports Wing, a one-of-a-kind living environment for students who are interested in competitive video gaming.

Evans noted that small tour groups and staggered appointments will be used to reduce density. All visitors are required to wear a mask and are encouraged to register in advance.
