SUNY Canton to Host No-Cost Air-Source Heat Pump Evening Course
SUNY Canton’s Center for Workforce, Community & Industry Partnerships (WCIP) will host a no-cost course on the fundamentals of air-source heat pumps in June.
Designed for HVAC trade professionals, design engineers, and technology enthusiasts, this course delves into the fundamentals of refrigeration, empowering participants to size heat pump components confidently through meticulous building-load analysis. Participants will learn the intricate mechanisms of inverters and indoor cassettes.
The course consists of four, three-hour lessons led by Canino School of Engineering Technology Dean Michael J. Newtown and Lecturer Jay Simmons.

- 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 27
