SUNY Canton Announces Summer 2026 Admissions Events
The SUNY Canton Admissions Office is hosting a number of upcoming virtual and on-campus information opportunities designed for prospective students and families.
“We want to make it as convenient as possible for families and students to connect with us, so we have several options that allow them to fit us into their busy schedules,” said SUNY Canton Executive Director of Enrollment Melissa J. Evans.

Extended Virtual Hours
The Admissions Office hosts extended virtual hours every Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Those interested in learning more about the campus and discussing college plans can sign up to speak one-on-one with an admissions counselor by signing up at Extended Virtual Hours.
Drop-In Days
Drop-In Days are evening virtual appointments for those who want to learn more about the college’s academic offerings. These are open to anyone at any stage of life and in the college search process. The next Drop-In Days are scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 11 to Thursday, May 14. To register, visit the Drop-In Days webpage.
Saturday Visit Days
Two Saturday Visit Days will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 13 and Aug. 8. These condensed events are designed for those who want to learn about application steps and student life. Tours led by current students will be available. To register, visit the Saturday Visit Days webpage.
Summer Splash
The college’s annual signature summer event is Summer Splash, which will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 25. Summer Splash combines campus tours and information sessions with recreational activities like kayaking.
“Summer is a wonderful time to visit campus, and we like to take advantage of the beautiful weather to showcase our location and scenery,” said Evans. “We have a mix of informative and fun activities that the whole family can enjoy.”
The day’s agenda includes discussions with admissions and financial aid representatives, as well as a question-and-answer session with the president.
