Scholarships Available for SUNY Canton Summer Day Camps
Adirondack for Kids, a foundation supported by Mountain Mart Stores, has made a generous donation to establish need-based scholarships for local students of all ages to attend SUNY Canton summer day camps.
“We are deeply appreciative of Adirondack for Kids and Mountain Mart Stores for this contribution,” said SUNY Canton’s Center for Workforce, Community & Industry Partnerships Executive Director Elizabeth A. Brown. “Their donation will allow more students to engage in learning opportunities and build friendships throughout the summer.”

Interested families can apply via the SUNY Canton summer day camp webpage https://www.canton.edu/wcip/summer/.
These camps are designed for a range of grade levels and areas of interest. Each camp runs for a one-week period (Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and discounts are available for booking multiple camps.
The Adirondack for Kids donation provides the opportunity for 24 individuals to attend one week of camp at a 50% reduction, bringing the cost to $125. A partnership with Adirondack North Country Association and a grant through NYSERDA offers 3 camps at a reduced rate of $50 and 1 camp at a reduced rate of $150.
