Renzi Food Pantry
The Renzi Food Pantry provides free and confidential access to food and personal care items for SUNY Canton students in need. Thanks to generous support from donors and the State University of New York, we are able to provide items such as non-perishable foods, hair and body care supplies, and menstrual products at no cost to students in need. Our pantry is housed in Student Affairs and located in the Miller Campus Center near the S.A.I.L Office on the 2nd Floor and the Counseling Office assists with the day-to-day management of the pantry. Please direct any questions or concerns to pantry@canton.edu or stop by Miller Campus Center 225 and we would be glad to assist you.
There are three different ways you can get food on campus:
-
Shop Online: Use the link below to order what you need and choose a pickup time that works for you. First-time users can log in with their SUNY Canton credentials and complete a short registration.
-
Visit During Open Hours: Stop by Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 PM – 3 PM to shop in person.
-
Grab & Go: Need food outside regular hours? Visit the cabinet just outside the Food Pantry for quick, ready-to-take items, no appointment needed.
The pantry is intended for limited use so that we can assist as many students as possible. If you find yourself needing ongoing support, please call 315-386-7314 or email pantry@canton.edu and we’ll connect you with additional resources.
You may also qualify for the New York State Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), which provides monthly benefits to help buy groceries.
Online students who do not live near the campus can find the nearest food pantry using the Feeding America Food Pantry Search.
If you need additional help, you can also apply for financial assistance from the Student Emergency Fund.
