Academic Requirements

Both first-time freshmen and transfer students are required to have earned a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher (US Grade Scale), as well as meet the college’s English Proficiency Requirements to be admitted to SUNY Canton.

Application Documents

• High school transcript and/or college transcript from all previously attended universities. Please note that these transcripts must be translated to English, if they are not already. Students are strongly encouraged to use SpanTran: The Evaluation Company!
• English Proficiency Scores
• For students planning to study in-person, please submit the International Student Financial form with supporting documentation, as well as a copy of the biography page of your passport (in color).
