SUNY Empire BS+MBA

SUNY Empire State College and SUNY Canton today announced a new partnership that allows SUNY Canton students to cross register and enroll at SUNY Empire to earn a master of business administration degree.

The agreement specifically makes it possible for SUNY Canton students working toward a bachelor of science in healthcare management or a bachelor of business administration to concurrently begin their studies in SUNY Empire’s 36-credit MBA in business management program. In addition, students enrolled in SUNY Canton’s undergraduate healthcare management program can enroll in SUNY Empire’s MBA in healthcare leadership.

Cross Registration

SUNY Canton Bachelor students who have successfully completed at least 75-credits of coursework, have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, and have SUNY Canton department chair and SUNY Empire approval may cross register for up to 9 credits of SUNY Empire coursework from the following list:

  • MGMT 6020 Leadership and Organizational Behavior

  • MGMT 6040 High Performance Management 
  • MGMT 6050 Operations Management (completion of an undergraduate Statistics course required for enrollment)
  • MGMT 6065 Economics for Global Managers (completion of an undergraduate Micro Economics course required for enrollment)
  • MGMT 6075 International Financial Management (completion of an undergraduate Accounting course required for enrollment)
  • FSMA 6010 Quantitative Methods in Finance
