My name is Angel Osoria, and I am a student at SUNY Canton studying Automotive Engineering Technology. I originally come from Yonkers, New York, and coming to SUNY Canton has given me the opportunity to continue my education while experiencing a new environment and meeting
people from different backgrounds. I have always been interested in how things work, especially vehicles and mechanical systems, which is one of the main reasons I chose to study automotive
technology. I enjoy learning through hands-on experiences and being able to take what I learn in the classroom and apply it to real situations.

Overall, my time at SUNY Canton has been a journey of learning, growth, and discovering what I want for my future. I know that I still have a lot to learn, but I am willing to work hard, take on new challenges, and learn from my experiences.

Lesley Panama

Welcome to SUNY Canton, I'm Lesly and I'm a 3rd year student in the nursing program. An interesting fact to know about me is that at the age of 17, I graduated with my Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license, which has been life changing for me. Can’t wait to see what the future holds. One of my dreams is to be a labor and delivery nurse but time will tell if I end up becoming one.

I've always loved playing soccer, but I stopped due to injuries. I'm so grateful to be part of this amazing team and leave a mark for future students. If you ever see me around campus, don't hesitate to say hello, I'm always approachable.

Wendy Panama

Hi, my name is Wendy Panama. I’m currently in my second year here at SUNY Canton, studying Individual Studies as I pursue a path toward nursing. I’m really excited for this next chapter. I’m also an EOP student, so I can relate to others navigating similar journeys. In addition, I’m a member of the cheer team so be sure to come out and support us at the games!  Outside of school, I love to travel. I’ve been to the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Cancun, and Canada. When I moved to Canton, it was definitely a culture shock, but I fell in love with the town and all the nature around it.  I’m a huge animal lover I have three pets a toy Cavapoo and two cats. I’m really hoping to be that person who can help others going through the same transitions, offering support as we grow here together. Hope to meet everyone soon!

My name is Ronelle Richards, and I am a Cybersecurity student at SUNY Canton. I am passionate about technology and enjoy learning how to protect computer systems and networks from cyber threats. I am always looking for opportunities to expand my knowledge, gain hands-on experience, and continue growing both personally and professionally.

Outside of mentoring, I enjoy staying active, spending time with friends and family, and learning new things. I look forward to meeting the new Jump Start class, sharing my experiences, and help make their transition in their first year at SUNY Canton a positive and memorable one.
